Team #Shalya participated in the 20th annual congress of Indian Association of #Gastrointestinal Endo Surgeons (IAGES 2023) which was held from 10th to 12th February at Coimbatore.

This 3-day event comprised of hands-on training model, live #surgical workshops, and video-based lectures covering diverse specialties such as #hernia, Upper GI, #HPB, #colorectal, #Bariatric, and #Gynaecology. 

More than 1500 renowned #surgeons from India including Dr. Palanivelu C (Chairman – GEM Hospital & Research Centre), Dr. Anil Heroor, Dr. Maruthu Pandian (Dean – MADURAI MEDICAL COLLEGE & HOSPITAL (Inst. Code – 003), MADURAI), Dr. MR Santhi, Dr. LP Thangavelu (IAGES – President and Organizing Chairman), Dr. Ashwin Thangavelu (Organizing Secretary) participated in this conference.

One of the highlights of this event was the session on “Mechanics of Health” by the yogi, mystic and visionary Sadhguru JV ji, where he enlightened us with his pragmatic thoughts on how one should manage his/her body and lifestyle so as to achieve optimum physical, mental and emotional state.
