Shalya\u2019s novel RFaST (Radio Frequency Ablation Scalpel Technology) is an advanced bipolar technology that can provide the advantages of cutting and coagulation using the same instrument without the need for an additional mechanical blade. It also helps to achieve moderate haemostasis during cutting (up to 1mm artery).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This technology was recently used by Dr. RK Purohit to perform a Sutureless Vaginal #Hysterectomy<\/a>, in the live #Surgical<\/a> Workshop that was relayed from Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan #Hospital<\/a> during AICOG 2023, Kolkata. This workshop was attended by more than 1000 #surgeons<\/a> from different parts of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
